Is This The Spooky House?
Overview
Day one has come and gone, I am extremely happy with it and I will go over the concerns shortly. Experience has taught me that the first day is always the day we figure out what works and what doesn't, then for the remainder of the haunt we get to tweak it into something, that fits very near the original plan. I haven't had to do that so far, despite a couple of cosmetic issues, it looks like the plan more or less from November the 1st 2024. There isn't a box office, which was ambitious but the space was far too small to fit and what have consisted of another false wall. I could have built it, I had both the time and materials but I don't think we've lost anything but not doing it.
Dining Room
You pull back the curtain revealing a slightly lightened room with a picture on the wall of 'Eat, Brains, Survive' to the end of the small room is a table and a Ouija board above it. To the right side of the room is a window. Outside is an image of the Dread House, smokey and red lit. A figure stands next to the table and places their finger to their lips and directs your attention to the Ouija board. The letters light up spelling the words 'Come Closer', once you have read the words out loud a goblin jumps out of the table. The figure pulls back the curtain and directs you out of the room.
The Nursery
The curtain reveals creepy toys in the right side of the room, and a darkened figure moving towards you. To the left side of the room, a figure in a white mask is rocking a crib. there are skeletons on each end of the room and a wardrobe on the far side. The masked figure moves towards the wardrobe and opens it, beckoning you to follow through as they lead you walking backwards.
The Living/ Dead Room
You are greeted by 'Dave' the cauldron smoking the room out and making visibility difficult. Another figure in a white mask stands motion less beside it. Once in the room, a figure with a creepy crawl moves towards you. On the screen a figure runs from behind the pumpkin patch to knock on the screen to direct your attention to the picture on the wall. The image drops revealing a figure behind.
The Tunnel Of Terror
The tunnel twists with white masks on each side of the wall. A figure follows you out of the tunnel.
